Observed annually, World Heart Day aims to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), their impact on human lives, and the steps we can take to prevent them. In Pakistan alone, these diseases claim over 250,000 lives each year — a staggering toll that can largely be reduced through prevention.
Cardiovascular disorders are mostly preventable. Simple lifestyle changes such as eating a balanced diet, quitting tobacco, and staying physically active can make a significant difference.
On this important day, Ali Fatima Hospital and its dedicated Cardiovascular Team reaffirm their commitment to promoting heart health and supporting our community in the fight against heart disease.
