World Blood Donor Day Celebrated at Ali Fatima Hospital

Ali Fatima Hospital, Lahore, observed World Blood Donor Day on June 14, 2023, with a spirit of compassion and awareness. The event aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and educate the public about its life-saving significance.

The Guest of Honor was Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Khaleeq Ur Rahman, Rector of The Green International University. The event was also graced by Dr. Tariq Bhatti, Principal of Abu Umara Medical and Dental College, Lahore.

An awareness camp was set up where numerous students and faculty members actively participated and donated blood voluntarily. The event concluded with an awareness walk, organized to emphasize the importance of regular blood donation, encourage new donors, and highlight the positive impact of this noble act on saving lives.
