Nursing Competencies and Research Projects Initiative at Ali Fatima Hospital, Lahore

The School of Nursing at Green International University (GIU) has partnered with Ali Fatima Hospital (AFH) to launch a collaborative program aimed at enhancing the clinical competencies and research skills of nursing staff and students.

This impactful initiative has been supported by the Worthy Chairman, Board of Governors, Mr. Muhammad Haider Amin; Honorable Rector, GIU, Prof. Dr. Amir Gilani; and Dr. Dimple Mustafa, Medical Superintendent of Ali Fatima Hospital.

Under the supervision of Principal Ms. Hajra Sarwar (Associate Professor) and Coordinator Ms. Alina Hameed (Assistant Professor), 8th-semester nursing students actively participated in hands-on activities designed to sharpen their professional nursing abilities. The sessions focused on practical skill-building and evidence-based nursing practices.

Esteemed contributors included Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Director QEC (GIU); Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Head of the Public Health Department (GIU); and Madam Samina, Nursing Superintendent at AFH—along with several distinguished faculty members from both institutions.
